The starting event:

• The official (re)launch of the UBBMed Program.

Key preclinical and developing units of UBBMed:

• As the key research-intensive university in Romania (part of GUILD – European research-intensive universities), the UBB science programs in biology, chemistry, physics, and environment, independent and/or in collaborations, provide a strong preclinical support of the UBBMed.
• InfoBioNano4Health will be a general academic infrastructure of the Program:
  • The winner of the solution bid of the new smart specialisation of the city of Cluj-Napoca – UBB: InfoBioNano4Health.
  • UBB Outlines the Pan-European Competitive Advantage for Cluj through InfoBioNano4Health.
• A new Center for COVID-19 and other Infectious Diseases is organized.

• The working language of the Program is English.
• Expressions of interest: Various professionals can be involved as permanent, temporary, or (clinical) adjunct staff. All will have access to UBB infrastructure/facilities and students and to develop new projects through UBB.
